If you have been following me on Instagram or Facebook you know since late 2019 we have been setting up our first brick-and-mortar storefront. The Katrina & Company Shoppe is located inside James T. Davis Paint and Design Center in Lynchburg, Va. The Grand Opening weekend was March 6 and 7th and it was so fabulous. You guys came out to support my dream and I can't thank you enough. Here is a glimpse of the weekend and what Katrina & Company is all about.

James T. Davis Paint and Design Center has been serving our community since 1936. They are paint and wallpaper specialists and even manufacture their own paint line. Ummmm, Katrina & Company paint line in the future??? That sounds good to me! Along with home decor, they also have an amazing selection of fabrics for any project and offer a variety of Hunter Douglas window coverings. It's seriously a one-stop shop for your home! I am so honored to have been asked to partner with such an amazing company. It's everything I'm passionate about rolled up into one place.

That's exactly how I feel about Katrina & Company as seen below. We built a mini Morris Manor inside a much larger James T. Davis and I couldn't love it anymore. Scott worked so hard to construct the vision I had in my head and he did an exquisite job. As he always does, God bless that man.

The Morris Manor is the name of our 100-year-old farmhouse. We have been renovating it from the ground up since 2016. The addition of Katrina & Company has been created to give you a seamless experience of shopping and design at a convenient location. We offer high quality home goods with classic style at an affordable price. It's just the beginning and I'm over the moon excited for my future of serving our community and beyond...

I named my shoppe and interior design service Katrina & Company in order to differentiate home vs. work although home is my work...does that make sense?

The Morris Manor is our home, renovation project and sanctuary. Katrina & Co. is our brick & mortar storefront, online shoppe (one day), and interior design service. I love working with clients but I have strict limits on the number I take each year. It's called work-life balance and it took me almost 10 years to figure it out.

Being both an interior designer and shoppe owner gives me the unique opportunity to offer a one of a kind experience. You walk into the shop and we will actually help you put the decor together to create a cohesive look. My commitment to you is that we will always keep it fresh, classy, and special. I've had a dream for the last 4 years of opening a shop to help women create the home they love and serve other designers and realtors as a place to purchase beautiful home decor. The Morris Manor

Sharing the decor in my own home helps you see how pretty, practical and functional the pieces are. We are a family of 5 humans and 3 animals and we live here hard! The house isn't always tidy and there is more dog hair on the floor than I'd like to admit, but here is the truth. You can have a beautiful home too. Just edit out items you don't use or love. Make pretty choices in the kitchen especially and DON’T let the kids sit on the sofa with food or drink!! Having a few rules in place make you a good mom, your home will thank you (so will your kids once they become adults, I promise)!
